“Scorpio Sting” is a love song for the spooky, scorpio season, dedicated to Anderson’s wife. Anderson originally conceived of the idea imaging Loudon Wainwright and SD Burman collaborating on a song in the style of Burman’s “Likha Hai Teri Aankhon Mein” from the film, Teen Deviyan (1965). Through live performances the song has morphed into its current recorded state. The video interprets the song’s lyrics literally, with Anderson seen falling in love with a monstrous scorpion.
