Video: “Nightmare Rider!”

On January 15th 2025, Jammerzine premiered the new video for, “Nightmare Rider,” and wrote the following:

“Almost feeling like a modern day protest song for the self and against the personal negative, traces of Bob Dylan clash with retrospective and introverted hybrids of guitar and electronica, Minorcan selves into the id and the self with the mind of a musician and the honesty of a poet.

Distinctly originaly [sic] and quasi sarcastic, Minorcan is a fresh voice in a tired world.”

To be a person, at times, can seem as though we are waiting for the worst to happen, living with the anxiety and fear our nightmares will become reality. The song, Nightmare Rider, is a reminder to myself to embrace the fear and anxiety, live with their presence, and ride the lucid nightmare. Ultimately, boiled down to its essence, my nightmare is to be without the ones I love, and I have to remind myself I’m not alone with this fear. We are communal beings and the thought of living without one another, separated, is incredibly terrifying. Home is a place we can all share, home is the heartbeat.
